The Undergrowth

Explore the undergrowth, a dense tangle of vines ruled by giant bugs and fire-breathing plants. This mod includes a dangerous new alternate area with unique enemies and a brand new set of weapons.

Originally designed as an area for NT:TE, the undergrowth was ultimately scrapped along with the rest of the planned jungle route. A couple months ago, I decided to develop the concept as a standalone project in my free time.

To enter the area, touch a special vine in the scrapyards without opening any nearby chests. Oh, and be careful around the mushrooms.
